MACROSS ZERO EPISODE ONE
Macross Zero is set one year before the events of the original Macross series, depicting the final battles of the global unification war between the UN Spacy and the Anti-UN forces set in the South Pacific. Amidst the violence, a UN F-14 Tomcat navy pilot named Shin Kudo is attacked by a strange enemy aircraft that can transform into a robot/battroid. Crash landing on the Islands of Mayan he learns that this remote island and its peaceful native inhabitants hold dark and terrible secret linking them to the alien space ship known now as the SDF-1 Macross that would become the focus of the war, whether they like it or not.
Released back in
December of 2002, using a mixture of Computer Imagery and traditional 2D art,
Macross Zero was the first OVA (Original Video Animation) series carrying the
Macross name since Macross Plus back in 1994. The series was a focus on
the 20th Anniversary of the Macross franchise.
The series was slightly panned by the fan network on the internet for it's delayed production releases, character designs and very earthy themes that Shoji Kawamori has become known for in the last 9 years.
However fans did enjoy the reappearance and Voice Actor reprisal of classic Macross character, Major Roy Fokker.
DUE TO RESTRICTIONS FROM BANDAI, THE NEW VERSION OF MACROSS ZERO EPISODE 1 IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO VIEW UNDER YOUTUBE CHANNELS AS DARK HEROES WAS BANNED.
PLEASE BE PATIENT AS WE ATTEMPT TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION.
